Gather Round Lil'Nigga's
This story revolves around three individuals who conducted a home invasion on an older man named Sunny, known for his involvement in illegal activities to make money. His family believed he earned income through an agency that employed people working "under the table." While that was indeed one source of income, Sunny was also engaged in drug trafficking.
During this period, the prices of drugs, particularly high-quality marijuana (referred to as "loud"), were soaring. These three individuals were identified as Big Bush, Lil Bush, and Cam. Big Bush had recently been released from prison and was seeking an opportunity to make quick money. He received information that Sunny, who also happened to be his former mentor, was expecting a 200-pound drug shipment from either Rhode Island or Massachusetts. The reason he had this inside information was his connection with Sunny.
On the scheduled day of the shipment's arrival, these three conducted the home invasion. They forcefully entered Sunny's residence, restrained him, and thoroughly searched the premises. However, they failed to locate the expected drugs, unaware that the shipment had faced a delay or some other issue.
During their search, Sunny managed to break free, leading to a physical altercation. In the course of the fight, Sunny removed one of their masks, revealing his assailant's face. Faced with no other choice, they resorted to shooting Sunny because he could identify one of them. Tragically, they shot and killed him.
This robbery can be considered both a failure and a success. It was a failure because they didn't find the drug shipment, but it was a success in the sense that they didn't leave empty-handed, managing to steal around $18,000 or thereabouts.
After acquiring this money, they began flaunting their newfound wealth, raising suspicions among the people around them. People began to question how these three suddenly had so much money. Remarkably, Sunny's family never informed the police about the $18,000 they had taken. Instead, they reported that the robbers had left empty-handed.
Word began circulating that Big Bush, Lil Bush, and Cam were responsible for robbing and killing Sunny. Consequently, Big Bush and Lil Bush decided to flee to North Carolina to evade capture, while Cam remained in the area but eventually met an unfortunate end.
As far as I know, Big Bush and Lil Bush had a reputation for robbing people, and I've heard reports of them continuing these criminal activities even in North Carolina. Big Bush ended up getting incarcerated there, and I believe he may still be behind bars. Lil Bush, on the other hand, had a change of heart when he became a father. This new responsibility motivated him to return to Philadelphia.
Following the incident with Sunny, Lil Bush never returned to Philadelphia due to threats from Sunny's nephew and other individuals in the neighborhood. The fact that he had become a father inspired him to turn his life around. He came back to Philly with the intention of apologizing to Sunny's nephew and the others, but this attempt went horribly wrong.
Lil Bush, accompanied by his brother, drove to 13th and Ruscomb to offer their apologies. However, Sunny's nephew and the others were unwilling to listen or engage in conversation. Lil Bush was armed, but as soon as they saw him and his brother exit the car, they initiated an attack. Lil Bush was hit and fell to the ground, and someone approached him with an AK-47. Meanwhile, his brother sustained an ankle injury and sought refuge behind a car. Eventually, they all retreated to their residence, handing their firearms to Sunny's nephew and instructing him to dispose of them. Unfortunately, he made a poor decision by discarding the guns in a church dumpster located behind their house.
