Anyone who knows Butchie or even remotely knows about him can say he's always been a stand-up individual, regardless of the situation. He's forever been a charismatic person, dating back to his days in Leeds when everyone was fond of him, even with all the conflicts happening Uptown. He managed to stay neutral, even during his time in Dobbins. Fast forward to November 2011, an incident occurred, and someone's testimony with immunity led to his imprisonment. Unfortunately, someone else involved, who could have exonerated him, passed away before anything could happen.
The other three individuals fled; LB sought refuge in someone's house. After the shooting ceased, LB asked the homeowner to check on the others. This person returned, reporting that E was found dead. So, how did Butchie's name become implicated in this? Well, once the smoke cleared, and detectives gathered information, it was revealed that the person who killed E was wearing a specific hoodie. LB identified that person from surveillance footage at the Walnut Street store as the shooter. That person in the footage was Butchie. RG was arrested in December of that year and faced charges for firing his gun before E's murder. However, he was granted immunity in exchange for his testimony. RG's account closely paralleled LB's, but RG provided details about how E was killed, as they had all scattered in different directions, and RG had hidden under a truck. He saw E run briefly but then collapse in the middle of the street, and the alleged shooter approached E and shot him in the head. RG identified Butchie from a photo lineup because he was wearing the same hoodie as in the picture.

Allegedly, it all began with an altercation at a store on Walnut Street, with E accompanied by three others, whom we'll refer to as LB, B, & RG. RG engaged in an argument with someone and fired his gun. The four of them fled to 56th & Whitby, stopping when they believed nobody was pursuing them. After walking about a block, they noticed two people trailing them. LB observed one of them pulling out a gun, and RG realized this, so he ran into the street and began shooting at the two individuals following them. Two female witnesses saw the shooting and identified the person in the same hoodie, although not Butchie directly. It's worth noting that this was during the time when everyone was wearing similar Nike track suits. In 2012, Butchie was arrested and charged with E's murder. Butchie's trial ultimately relied on RG's testimony, given that he had received immunity for his testimony regarding the shooting that occurred before E's death. During the trial, RG explained how he met up with another individual, whom we'll call EG, before the alleged shooting. This detail would prove crucial because EG had the ability to...
